On January 11, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 5,500 invitations to candidates in the Express Entry pool. The draw was for all programs, which include Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
The cut-off score for Invitation to Apply (ITA) was 507. It is 16 points higher than the last round, which was 491. Let’s look at the cut-off score and the number of invitations issued for the past 5 draws:

Since IRCC resumed drawing applicants for FSWP, FSTP and CEC, the cut-off score was continuously going lower until the last draw back in November 2022. The reason for the increase in today’s cut-off score was that IRCC had EE draws on pause for the past 6 weeks, which meant there were more applicants in the pool. pace.
Let’s look at CRS score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool as of January 11, 2023:

Assuming IRCC would continuously issue the same or higher number of ITAs, the cut-off score is anticipated to be lower in the next draw, possibly 495-500.
