An F1 student visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows you to study in the United States as a full-time student at a certified institution. You can apply for an F-1 visa after an accredited US institution accepts your enrollment application.

Eligibility to Apply for A Study Permit

The college or the university where you plan to study needs to be approved
Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the institution while your academic term is in session.
Must meet the required English language proficiency score of the institution you are attending
Have intention to leave the United States of America at the end of studies.
Providing satisfactory proof of financial support.
Provide Police Clearance Certificate if required by the country of application or visa office.
Will not be a risk to the security of the United States of America.
Are in good health (a medical examination may be requested).
