Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 1,613 invitations to apply (ITAs) in the latest Express Entry draw. It was issued under the category of Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) at the round of #316 today October 7, 2024.
Today is the first draw of the month, candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 743 to be considered. The last draw happened on September 19th, invited 4,000 candidates solely from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The minimum required Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was 509, a slight increase from the previous draw of CEE-specific draw on August 27, which had a cutoff of 507.
CEC-specific draws have been more frequent this summer, with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 21,800 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to CEC candidates since July. This reflects IRCC’s strategy to increase domestic draws, reduce temporary residents, and meet its permanent resident targets for the year.
