Program Overview
The F-1 visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows international students to study full-time at accredited universities, colleges, high schools, language training programs, or other approved institutions in the United States.

Program Requirements
To be eligible, you must
- Be accepted by a U.S. school certified by SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program).
- Enroll as a full-time student during your academic terms.
- Meet the institution’s English language proficiency requirements (or enroll in English language training if needed).
- Prove you have sufficient financial support to cover tuition, living expenses, and other costs while studying.
- Show that you intend to leave the U.S. after completing your studies.
- Provide a Police Clearance Certificate if requested by the U.S. consulate.
- Be in good health (a medical exam may be required).
- Demonstrate you pose no security or immigration risk to the U.S.

APPLICATION PROCESS
- Get accepted by a SEVP-certified U.S. school and receive your Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility).
- Pay the SEVIS I-901 fee and complete the DS-160 visa application form.
- Schedule and attend an interview at your nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
- Provide supporting documents such as your passport, Form I-20, proof of financial support, and academic records.
Once approved, you’ll receive your F-1 visa and can begin your journey as an international student in the United States.
