Express Entry Draw Results – September 14, 2022

On September 14, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 3,250 invitations to candidates in the Express Entry pool. The draw was for all programs, which include Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

The cut-off score for Invitation to Apply (ITA) was 510. It is 6 points lower than the last round, which was 516. Let’s look at the cut-off score and the number of invitations issued for the past 5 draws:

As we can see, the cut-off score has been steadily getting lower because IRCC has been increasing the number of invitations issued in each draw.

In addition, many Express Entry candidates with high CRS score have been invited since IRCC has resumed draws for CEC, FSWP and FSTP applicants. Let’s look at CRS score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool as of September 12, 2022:

CRS score range

601-1200
501-600
491-500
481-490

Assuming IRCC would continuously issue the same or higher number of ITAs, the cut-off score is anticipated to be lower in the next draw, possibly 503-506.
